We kindly invite you to a mini symposium during which two lectures will be presented:
– ” What can we learn about mTOR from studying neurons?”, which will be given by Jacek Jaworski PhD, Professor (https://www.iimcb.gov.pl/en/about-us/authorities/24-jacek-jaworski) from Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, Poland;
– “Identification of proteins regulating the repeat-associated non-AUG translation in fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome”, which will be given by Anna Baud PhD (https://ibmib.web.amu.edu.pl/groups/gene-therapy/anna-baud/) from Gene Therapy Research Group, Department of Gene Expression Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań.
The lectures are organized as part of the KNOW RNA Research Centre in Poznań and will be held Friday, December 20th, 2024, at 9:15, in the Sala Rady Wydziału (Faculty Council Lecture Hall), Faculty of Biology UAM.
