RNA Salon Poznan contest 2026

Drodzy uczestnicy RNA Salon Poznań,

W ramach RNA Salon Poznań ogłaszamy konkurs na:

1. Najciekawszą pracę licencjacką z roku akademickiego 2025/26, obronioną do 16 października 2026 r.;
2. Najciekawszą pracę magisterską z roku akademickiego 2025/26, obronioną do 16 października 2026 r.;
3. Najlepszą publikację z lat 2025/26, w której student jest pierwszym lub drugim współautorem (lub miał znaczący udział w jej powstaniu);
4. Najlepszą publikację z lat 2025/26, w której doktorant jest pierwszym lub drugim współautorem (lub miał znaczący udział w jej powstaniu).

Kryteria przyznawania nagrody: tematyka prac i publikacji związana z RNA, znaczący udział studenta w powstaniu publikacji.

Każda nagroda to 500 PLN i gadżety RNA!

Zgłoszenia proszę wysyłać na adres doracz@amu.edu.pl, z tematem „Konkurs RNA Salon Poznan”, do dnia 6 listopada 2026 r. Do zgłoszenia proszę załączyć w formie pdf: 1) pracę/publikację; 2) krótki opis (max 1 strona) swojej pracy zawierający uzasadnienie znaczenia pracy w badaniach RNA; w przypadku publikacji również wskazanie swojego udziału w powstaniu publikacji; 3) podpisany skan zgody „wyrażam zgodę na zamieszczenie mojego imienia i nazwiska oraz tytuły pracy/publikacji przy ogłaszaniu wyników konkursu na stronach internetowych UAM i ICHB PAN oraz w mediach społecznościowych organizatorów konkursu)”. Wyniki zostaną ogłoszone do 11 grudnia 2026. Laureaci zostaną uhonorowani podczas jednego z wydarzeń RNA Salon Poznan i Sekcji Kwasów Nukleinowych Oddziału Poznańskiego PTBioch.

Dear RNA Salon Poznan,

Within the RNA Salon Poznan we open a contest for:

1. The best bachelor thesis of 2025/2026 defended till 16^th of October 2026
2. The best master thesis of 2025/2026 defended till 16^th of October 2026
3. The best publication of 2025 and 2026, where the applying student is the first or second author (or otherwise major contributor)
4. The best publication of 2025 and 2026, where the applying PhD student is the first or second author (or otherwise major contributor)

Eligibility criteria: RNA-related topic (theses & papers), and a significant role of the student in the preparation of the paper (papers).

Each award is 500 PLN and RNA gadgets!

Applications: please send the applications via e-mail entitled “Konkurs RNA Salon Poznan” to doracz@amu.edu.pl till 6^th of November 2026. Please attach pdf files of 1) the thesis/publication; 2) short description (max 1 page) of the work including its significance in RNA research; for publications also the short description of the applicant’s contribution to the publication; 3) a signed agreement ‘Hereby I grant the right to post my name and surname and the tile of the thesis/ paper when announcing the results of the RNA Salon Poznan contest on the AMU and IBCH PAS webpages and on social media accounts of the contest organizers). The results will be announced till 11^th of December 2026. The laureates will be officially honoured during one of the upcoming RNA Salon Poznan events and Nucleic Acids Section, the Poznan Branch of PTBioch.
