Karolina graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Ziolkowski. During her undergraduate studies, she worked on crossover variation within pericentromeric regions based on a broad diversity of Arabidopsis thaliana accessions.
In October 2023, she started her PhD studies in the Ziolkowski group. Currently, she investigates the interaction between recombination pathways in Arabidopsis.
