Tomasz obtained his PhD from Adam Mickiewicz University, discovering the essential role of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase in chloroplast biogenesis and other developmental programs in plants (advised by Prof. Jan Sadowski and Prof. Piotr Ziółkowski). He recently completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania with Prof. Doris Wagner, investigating how chromatin regulators drive plant developmental reprogramming.
In his current work, he combines chromatin biology with genetic engineering to map and rewrite regulatory circuits in plants. He is also committed to mentoring and teaching the next generation of scientists.
