Martyna graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree in Biotechnology. Then she started PhD studies and continues research in the Department of Bioenergetics. She works on yeast model constructed by her and aimed to research contribution of human VDAC protein paralogs to counteracting effects of oxidative stress in cells lacking superoxide dismutases.
