The constantly growing amount of NGS data from different experimental approaches require modern methods for efficient analysis. We focus on interpretation of data obtained from sequencing of small RNAs and transcriptome-wide RNA secondary structure probing to understand biological processes orchestrated by RNA, including regulation of ribosome activity and antibiotic resistance in bacteria. To make it possible we aim to develop a complete methodology for analysis of NGS data enabling efficient identification of novel non-canonical small RNAs, as well as successful interpretation of RNA structure probing signal.
