Eliza obtained her MSc degree in Biotechnology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where she developed an interest in protein–protein interactions. She later joined Prof. Sobczak’s research group to pursue her PhD, focusing on identifying MBNL1 splicing factor interaction partners in the context of myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1). Her research explores how these interactions contribute to the common regulation of alternative splicing and to the molecular pathomechanism of DM1, aiming to identify potential therapeutic targets for novel treatment strategies.
