Katarzyna obtained her Engineer’s and MSc degrees in Biotechnology from the Poznań University of Life Sciences. She subsequently joined the Department of Experimental Anaesthesiology at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences, where she completed her PhD under the supervision of dr hab. Hanna Billert. Her research focused on the effects of local anaesthetics on cord blood and adult human neutrophils. In 2020, Katarzyna joined the Developmental Epigenetics Lab, where she has been supporting the lab’s research activities. In 2025, she became a member of the STOP Lab, where she is responsible for the administration of the ERC grant and other grants at the Genome Regulatory Centre. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading, and gardening.
