Aravind graduated with a master’s degree in Computational Biology from Anna University – Chennai, India. His undergraduate was in Industrial Biotechnology from where he developed an interest in computational methods to study biology and decided to continue his higher studies in the same field. He joined BIT lab on Oct 2018 and started his journey on cutting edge molecular dynamics simulations and building his skills in python. He is working on transport pathways in proteins with buried active sites called tunnels and unravelling the role of them on how they are utilized during transport events.
