Agata received her MSc degree in molecular biology from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. She completed her PhD in Plant Genetics Institute Polish Academy of Science in Poznan and joined the Department of Biotechnology at AMU. Since 2017 she is working as a postdoc at Ludwików Lab. During her PhD she was analysing PP2C protein complexes and ethylene biosynthesis pathway regulation. Now, her main research areas are focused on the regulation of WHIRLY proteins such as turnover regulation and proteasomal degradation. In the lab she applies various molecular biology tools, IP and mass spectrometry protein identification, in vitro SUMOylation assay, cell free degradation assay, microscopy analysis.
