Grzegorz is a molecular biologist. He received his MSc degree in biotechnology from Wroclaw University. Than he started working in bacteriophage laboratory in Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy PAS. After three years he moved to Poznan and started PhD in Prof. Wlodzimierz Krzyzosiak group in Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (IBCh) PAS. His research was about RNA toxicity in spinocerebellar ataxia type 3. After finishing his PhD thesis he started to work as assistant in Medical Biotechnology Department in IBCh. Then he was a postdoc in Laboratory of Mitochondrial Biochemistry (Department of Bioenergetics) at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. His research focused on influence of statins on mitochondria. At present he is a postdoc  in Bioenergetics group, hired within  OPUS_LAP 2023/51/I/NZ3/00534, and works on the role of cytoskeleton-mitochondria interaction in tardigrade cryptobiosis.
