Wojciech graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a master’s degree in the field of biology. His undergraduate research focused on the effects of statins, drugs commonly used in treatment of hypercholesterolemia on the oxygen metabolism of amoeba Acanthamoeba castellanii. During his PhD studies he focuses on bisphosphonates used in treatment of osteoporosis and their effect on mitochondrial functions in kidney cells.
