Dorota graduated in Biotechnology at Adam Mickiewicz University and did her Ph.D. at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology AMU, in plant field. Next, she moved to Institute of Cell Biology, Daniel Schuemperli group at the University of Bern in Switzerland, for 2-years postdoc where she switched to human cells. When she came back, she started her own projects and soon she formed research group – RNA Processing Laboratory. Her research is focused mostly on U7 snRNA/RNP and FUS roles in the regulation of gene expression and RNA processing. Besides, she is interested in running, bird watching, hiking and brewery.
