Maria graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology. During her undergraduate studies she worked on the characterisation of Acanthamoeba castellanii extracellular nucleases. Then in October 2021 she started her PhD studies on Anna Kasprowicz- Maluski scientific team. Maria analyses tobacco BY2 cells adapted to osmotic and salt stress in the search of key regulatory factors between energy management, molecular homeostasis, and the size of the chronically stressed plant cells.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling, sport, hiking, baking and good cuisine.
