Before joining the team of Prof. Wojciech M. Karowski, Anand held a master’s degree in bioinformatics and had three years of professional work experience. His PhD research work is focused on the identification of tRNA and tRNA-like sequences in Arabidopsis thaliana. He is involved in the development of tools to analyze RNA-seq data along with web applications for the presentation of the results.
