Tansu graduated from the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department at Balıkesir University in 2017. Tansu finished her Master’s degree in Biotechnology at Yeditepe University in 2020. During her Master’s thesis, Tansu investigated the changes in the molecular level post-drug administration by using specific biomarkers in T cells of Multiple Sclerosis patients. After her Master’s degree, Tansu worked as a Research Assistant in Neuroimmunology at Koç University. In 2022, Tansu joined Gdula Lab to investigate the role of 3D genome folding in establishing the keratinocyte-specific promoter-enhancer network during epidermal development. Tansu loves spending her free time taking photographs in nature.
