I have completed my PhD in Professor Sobczak’s lab where I studied factors regulating non-canonical protein synthesis in neurodegenerative diseases associated with short nucleotide repeat expansions. Since my postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University, my interests have focused on RNA modifications and their implications for gene expression regulation across multiple organisms. Currently, within Jakub Dolata’s project, we are implementing cutting-edge nanopore-based sequencing to study epitranscriptomics of small RNAs in plants and beyond. In my free time, I enjoy running, climbing, and cycling.
