Carolina Roxo is a molecular biologist and she made her doctoral studies at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (ICHB) of Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, Poland. Her studies were focused on the secondary structure G-quadruplex, and the correlation of their structural and physicochemical features with their biological activity as anticancer agents.
Since November 2025 she has been working at a post-doc position in the Stem Cells Laboratory, where she is involved in the project “Multi-omics and functional analyses towards type 2 diabetes: targeting altered pathways and metabolic rearrangements.”
