Ekaterina completed Master studies in Biotechnology at Adam Mickiewicz University, with a project studying proliferation of human pancreatic beta cells.

Underwent a 3-month internship at Dublin City University in Ireland, being involved in research of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

The topic of the current PhD project concerns the interactome between endocrine progenitors and surrounding mesenchyme in the developing human pancreas.
