Joanna Szpotkowska is a molecular biologist and a graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She obtained her master’s degree in molecular biology in 2014. In the same year she started her doctoral studies at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan, where she focused on secondary and tertiary RNA structure, as well as its thermodynamic properties. She received her PhD degree in 2020. Since January 2022 she is working on post-doc position in Stem Cells Laboratory, where she is involved in the project concerning human insulin maturation.
