Małgorzata is a graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University, where in 2016 she obtained a master’s degree in biotechnology. Then she moved to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, to exam how certain extracellular matrix proteins affect the biomechanical characteristics of glioblastoma cells. Additionally, she was part of an interdisciplinary project utilizing nanoparticles together with RNAi. She received a PhD in 2022. Małgorzata feels confident in assessing the level of gene expression using qPCR and Western blot. She also was working on in vitro models, performing migration, proliferation and cytotoxicity assays.

From January 2023 she is employed as a post-doc at the Stem Cells Laboratory (prof. Borowiak’s group), where she will be working on the project concerning microenvironment in the processes of differentiation and maturation of human pancreatic cells.

In free time, Małgorzata loves to read books, especially those written by Stephen King.
