Sara is a graduate of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk, where in 2021 she received a master’s degree in biotechnology.

In her research she focused on assessing the effect of the gain-of-function mutant of the C2 protein of the complement system on the cytotoxic activity of the type II monoclonal antibody – obinutuzumab, and comparing the effect of rituximab and obinutuzumab on various Burkitt lymphoma cell lines. She’s been part of the Stem Cells Laboratory (prof. Borowiak’s group) since 2021, when she began her PhD studies.

In her spare time Sara loves baking and cooking for friends.
